TEAM COACHING
& CLINICS
sessions
2 Hour
Coach Licata offers the ability for teams to hire him to run individual practices or clinics at their school. These are typically done in a two-hour slot, but this can be altered depending on your school practice setup.
Coach's Skills Include:

Assisting how to teach the shot put and discus techniques at all levels.
Organizing an effective throwing practice.
Achieving results with a small or large team.
Ensuring coaching with continued results in mind.
He provides expertise on the best course of action to improve the throwing situation at your school. There will also be video demonstrations of the drills and important positions covered in his clinics. These can be used for the coaches and athletes to refer back to when needed.
Specific organization of the practice varies based on the number of athletes, experience level, coaches’ goals, etc.

CJ with Ridge High School Throws Team
Nicole Gilhuley,
Head Coach at Ridge High School
When Coach CJ started coming in twice a week, we were just hoping for a fresh set of eyes to help our throwers and give our staff a boost. Six weeks in, it has been a complete game changer.
CJ does a great job meeting each athlete where they are and making sure every rep actually has a purpose. For our staff, especially those of us still learning the ins and outs of the throws, CJ has been huge. It is not like we are just standing there watching. He brings us into it and really helps us grow as coaches too, and even put together a tutorial video we can use for reinforcement.
The balance of energy and technical detail has been great. CJ gets athletes to recognize what they are doing wrong and understand how to fix it, which has made a big difference. Our throwers have picked up drills they are now using every day, and you can see it in their performance.
If you are looking to improve your throws group, I cannot recommend Coach CJ enough.
While there are no scheduled camps or specific coaches’ clinics currently, there are plans to host some in the future.
Stay tuned for this!
